How it started
The idea for Momentio did not come from a desk. It came from a feeling most people know: you want to show somebody how much they mean to you — and you are standing in front of a shelf full of things that cannot say it.
I wanted to make a gift that is genuinely personal. Not personalised in the sense of "name printed on a mug". Personal like a song that tells that one shared memory. Like a message that strikes exactly the right note. Like an experience you open together and that takes your breath away.
Technology cannot replace feeling — but it can give it a stage that did not exist before.
So I started building. Not because I thought the world needed another gift startup, but because I am convinced that the best gifts are not things — they are moments.
What we are here for

I am not a corporation, not an investor-driven startup, not a team of fifty. I am one founder in Germany who believes that with the right technology and a clear idea you can make something worth having.
Momentio is my own project, in the fullest sense. Every detail — from the moment you hear the first draft of your song to the animation when the gift is opened — is thought through with care. Not because a specification demands it, but because I would be the first to be annoyed by an experience made without love.
I build Momentio in Germany, on German servers, to German data protection standards. Not as a marketing line, but because it ought to go without saying.
